Need a couple rig chasers

I'm looking to fill a couple of high skill positions in west Texas. Experience chasing rigs is a must. I'm looking for Welders that can do it all, manage multiple Welders, manage themselves, maintain customer relationships, communicate effectively to both the customer and Me,all while avoiding getting the "to good for this" attitude. Pay will range on how good your are as a whole, not just how pretty you can run a bead. Welders with the right qualities and experience can expect 50-65/hour. Just asking does the Texas oilfields have two totally different worlds of rigchasing & pipeline like in Appalachia. We got conventional vertical E&P then we got directional shale drilling & fracking. Both so different you cant even consider them to be the same industry.

Yes sir, they do. It's a ton of different worlds. I have worked for chevron down there with all the stroke.... bossin big jobs, seen this and that, paid this and that. I have also worked down there as a simpleton rig-welder. Between independents and majors, it's everything in between and still the wild wild west whether Major or Independent.

& more cut throats that you can shake a stick at, just like every where else though........really.

& wages between cutthroat 50 and above 125 per hour......lol just for the welder mind ya.

Definitely got to be on top of your game there, no matter how much experience you have, just saying.

Sure looks like it. We just started a compressor station, chasing 1 rig, and if this well hits, a possability of 24 tank batteries.

My boss used to design and build rigs for Zenith drilling. Our shop is big enough that we had a premix tank, mud tank, and the subs set up all at once.

That's pretty big. We do everything outside but a company we all use for derricks can fit 4 derricks and a set of subs at same time. Must be nice lol. We do a Lot in the rain,sleet,or 107 heat.

It's nice in the winter, but in summer when we are busy and have about 8 arcs and 3 or 4 torches going, it gets hotter than hell.

All the real rig welders are in Alberta.
